If you are having problems connecting to the Internet, make sure:

• the modem is turned on
• the modem is properly connected to the computer
• the modem is properly connected to the wall
• the modem is talking to the provider network
• you are plugged in to the correct network adapter (only if your computer has multiple network adapters )
